The old church in Højerup and the surrounding
area are administered and maintained by the
Højeruplund Society, a self-governing institution.
Its economy is based on the income from parking
fees, without which it would not be possible to
attend to the numerous tasks requred to keep the
area presentable throughout the year.

The Board of the Society extends therefore its
thanks to all those who - by paying the modest
parking fee of 20 kr. - contribute towards
preserving this splendid terrain.

Located right at Stevns Cliff, the area illustrates
a fascinating aspect of Denmark's geology as well
as a dramatic occurrence in Danish church history.
